Emma Griffin
Whilst I am primarily a painter, I have worked in the creative industry for over twenty years in the fields of design and publishing. I studied illustration at Falmouth School of Art, and have been represented by global agents Debut Art for my mixed media digital illustration work.
My paintings are largely inspired from living on the Gower peninsula, and from travels around the coastlines of the world including Europe, Hawaii, Costa Rica and Fiji.
My abstract seascapes are representative of the ever changing ocean and skies, vast horizons and the untamed wilderness of the beaches and cliffs. Textures and colours, weather worn, the streaks of quartz in beach pebbles, and the jewelled depths of rock pools.
I paint from my studio at home in Mumbles on Gower, and my work can be found in private collections.
